Whether you are debugging a synth patch, checking a controller mapping, or just curious what happens when you press a key: MIDI Aid shows you what is really happening on the wire. Every incoming event appears live, decoded into plain language, with the raw bytes right next to it.
MIDI Aid first shipped in 2014. Version 2 is a complete rewrite: one shared codebase, a clean technical interface with dark and light themes, and now available beyond the Mac.
