Your MIDI data stays on your device

MIDI Aid reads MIDI events from devices connected to your iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Android device and displays them on screen. The events are held in memory only, are never written to disk, never uploaded, and are discarded when you clear the log or close the app.

Local network access

On iPhone, iPad, and Mac, MIDI Aid can receive events from network MIDI sessions. For this, the operating system may ask for permission to access the local network. This access is used exclusively to receive MIDI data from devices you have configured; nothing is sent to the developer or any third party.

No accounts, no analytics

The app requires no sign-in, contains no advertising, and includes no analytics or tracking of any kind. The App Privacy label is: Data Not Collected.

This website

This website is hosted statically and sets no cookies. The hosting provider technically processes IP addresses in server logs to deliver the pages, as with any website.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, and restriction. Since MIDI Aid collects no personal data, there is usually nothing to request, but you can always contact hello@wissmueller.net.
